Capital Campaign Summary

Voted by delegates in 2000, the three-fold capital campaign included establishing a conference educational endowment, refurbishing the Soquel campground and redeveloping Camp Wawona. Phase one for Soquel, and the $1.2 million educational endowment, have been completed. At the November constituency meeting, Jackie Bragaw, capital campaign director, reported:

$36,776,000*

11,726,000 raised to date

$25,050,000 to be raised

*Includes $1 million for Soquel campground, $2.3 million for the conference educational endowment and $22 million for phase one of Camp Wawona’s redevelopment.
