On Jan. 3, champion motocross rider Nathan Ramsey, from Lake Elsinore, visited Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital. Sponsored by San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Ramsey signed autographs and took pictures with patients on his motorbike.
Nate has shown how personal commitments, discipline and setting goals have enabled him to reach the top in professional motorcycle racing. They are great role models for todays youth, says Jacob Coin, director of tribal communication, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. When we found out that he would be in the area, we thought, what a wonderful gift to provide to the Childrens Hospital.
Ramsey won the 1999 Western Region Championship in the 125 class. He competed at the opening round of the 2007 Ampd Mobile AMA Supercross Series on Jan. 6 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
