Isaeff, Leslie R. – b. Feb. 13 1945, Salinas, Calif.; d. March 12, 2007, Turlock, Calif. Survivors: wife Judith; daughters, Kristi, Suzanne. Practiced dentistry in Turlock for 35 years; gave generously of his time to the community; participated in the education field, Sabbath School, and wildlife conservation.

Johnson, Vivian D. – b. Sept. 15, 1925, Lodi, Calif.; d. Aug. 17, 2007, Dobbins, Calif. Survivors: husband, Lynn; son, Dan; daughter, Lynette Clement; two grandsons. Served as secretary to several Pacific Union College professors; assistant Librarian at Monterey Bay Academy; and as principal's secretary for Rio Lindo Academy.

Kumalae, Jonah Jr. – b. Waimea, Hawaii, Jan. 2, 1905; d. July 31, 2007, Waimea, Hawaii. Survivors: sons, Jonah III, Llewellyn, Wallace; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Members of the Kumalae family were the first converts in the Hawaiian Islands. Jonah was last surviving member of first graduating class of Hawaiian Mission Academy.

Mace-Maines, Edythe – b. Nov. 7, 1918, Indianapolis, Ind.; d. Mar. 18, 2007, Hughson, Calif. Survivors: daughter, Carol Ray; two grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Magan, Jr., Wellesley (Bill) – b. May 11, 1919, Covina, Calif.; d. July 1, 2007, Visalia, Calif. Survivors: sons, Shaen, Tom, Pat; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Dr. Magan served in the U.S. Navy and Army in Japan. He practiced orthopedics for 47 years at the Magan Medical Clinic in Covina and Sacramento.

Major, Philip J. – b. June, 11, 1937, Champlain, N.Y.; d. Aug. 12, 2007, Modesto, Calif. Survivors: seven children; 10 grandchildren.

Maxwell, Eileen – b. March 30, 1934, Los Angeles, Calif.; d. April 29, 2007, Scottsdale, Ariz. Survivors: husband, Malcolm; son, Kevin; daughter, Wendy; five grandchildren. Served in various capacities as musician, teacher, secretary, credential analyst and helped her pastor-husband, who was professor and president of Pacific Union College.
