Still Sharing Christ in the Marketplace
Pat Arrabito
Adventist-Laymen’s Services and Industries — better known as ASI. Who are these ASI people?
Norman Reitz is a lawyer who shuts down his practice for two months at a time so that he and wife Gail can preach in Africa and India.
Steve Rinker is a dentist who surrounds himself with children who might never otherwise see a dentist.
Mike and Tara Flynn, a couple of converted hippies, give addicts, ex-cons and homeless people a place to stay, help with sobriety, career training, jobs and friendship.
Fred Hosillos, along with a colleague, started Marathon Clinics in Honolulu and Glendale.
Terry Moreland and his family preach among the Hindu “untouchables” in southern India and built a medical center to provide surgery and rehabilitation for polio victims.
Danny Houghton, Jr., has big ideas about TAGnet, the online home of many of ASI’s ministries. netAdventist has become an internet-based communication system for the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church (see netAdventist.org).
Daryl and Mary Jo Oft found the people of Kaswanga, Mbita, Kenya, chronically dehydrated for lack of a pure water supply. They built a 4000-liter water tank with a purification system at one of the schools.
Do you want to be more involved in soul-winning? Come work with the ASI family!
