Dear Pacific Union Member:

He got a Bible course enrollment card in the mail. He wasn’t interested and threw it in the trash. When he later emptied the waste basket in the barrel outside, the wind caught the card and blew it away. It stayed covered with snow until spring, when another man saw it while raking leaves. This time he sent the card in, and today is a member of the church. Oh, the power of one little card!

God has many ways to attract people to Him. Printed material has always been one effective way to share the good news about Jesus and His return to earth. Now we also have websites that can speak to a person 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is time we used both to sow seeds of heavenly truth. But how? I have good news.

The cards depicted on this page are business card size advertisements for various websites with an evangelistic outreach. They include: Bible Bay, Bibleinfo.com, Breath of Life, It Is Written, LaVoz de la Esperanza, The Hope Channel, Voice of Prophecy, and more. In addition, cards can be printed for your church website.

WebShare is Here

If you go to the Pacific Union website at www.puconline.org, you will see a button on the first page giving you information on a simple new way to share your faith called WebShare. There are plastic card holders available to hold the cards while in your shirt pocket or purse. Everything is available at cost. Then:

• When you are in a restaurant or fast food store, give a card to the waiter or server.

• When you shop, give one to the clerk at the end of your transaction.

• When you are in a doctor’s office, drop one in the magazine you are reading in the waiting room.

• When you pay your bills, drop one in the envelope.

• If you ride a bus or fly, hand one to the person next to you. No need to be pushy, just say as you are leaving, “this is something you might find interesting.”

• When you are talking to someone and the subject turns to a spiritual topic, share a card for the ministry that might interest them.

The list could go on endlessly, but you get the point. We need thousands of people sowing seeds the Holy Spirit can water.

“The good seed sown may lie some time in a cold, worldly, selfish heart, without evidencing that it has taken root; but frequently the Spirit of God operates upon that heart, and waters it with the dew of heaven, and the long-hidden seed springs up and finally bears fruit to the glory of God. We know not in our lifework which shall prosper, this or that” (Testimonies, vol. 3, p. 248).

Imagine the Impact

If just our active church members in this union were to hand out only two cards a week, we could create one million opportunities for the Holy Spirit to use every month. Can you imagine the potential of a million cards floating around every month? And since heaven keeps track of that card from start to finish, we will discover in heaven many people eternally saved as a result of some small thing we did for the kingdom.

Let me urge you to get involved in this program right now. Your pastor no doubt has the cards available. If not, just order them online from the Pacific Union website. Let’s use technology and print media together for God. But He needs your hands to do it.
