Creative Director of Advertising. The director will be responsible for creating the actual advertising product, which includes copy writing and design coordination for display ads, catalogs, book covers, CD covers, special mailings, etc. The director also participates in strategic planning of marketing campaigns. The director works as a team with the Administrative Director of Marketing to manage all aspects of the work of the Advertising Department. A college degree in communications, advertising, or the equivalent in work experience is required as well as proven experience in advertising with special skills in writing sales copy. ADVERTISING ASSISTANT/COPYWRITER. The assistant will write creative copy for product advertising and assist in other projects supporting the marketing and sales effort. The job requires a B.A. in advertising or communications, demonstrated ability to conceptualize and write creative product advertising, and ability to use Word computer program. CREATIVE DIRECTOR/DESIGNER IN ADVERTISING. The director will be responsible for creating and coordinating the production of all advertising and promotional copy and will serve as a graphic designer, assigning jobs, giving approval to work in progress, and assisting in idea generation. A college degree in communications, advertising, or graphic design is required and proficient ability in commercial art and design using current design software. ADVERTISING DESIGNER. The designer utilizes graphic arts skills and technology to design a wide array of marketing, advertising and merchandising materials.
