Pacific Union College welcomes several new faces to the classroom this year.
Vola Andrianarijaona, now teaching physics, has masters degrees in physics from the Institut GalileeUniversité de Paris XIII in Paris, France, and from the Université de Paris VII and a doctorate from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.
Ileana Douglas, who has been PUCs academic dean since 1999, returns to the history classroom. Douglas holds a masters degree from New York University and a doctorate from the University of Valladolid, Spain.
Karlton Keller has taught at PUCs Paulin Center for the Creative Arts and now joins the music department as a faculty member. Keller received his masters degree in music from Andrews University.
Thomas Lee, who is new to the education department, received his masters degree in biology from Walla Walla College.
Tammy McGuire has joined the communication department. She received a masters in English education from Eastern Washington University and is currently completing her doctorate in communication from the University of MissouriColumbia.
Kelly McHan comes to the nursing department with a Master of Public Health degree from Loma Linda University.
Ray Rajagukguk has joined the chemistry faculty. He received a doctoral degree in biochemistry from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Maria Rankin-Brown comes to the English department with a masters degree in communication from the University of Northern Colorado and a doctorate in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Bryan Y. Y. Wong, new to the biology department, received a masters degree and doctorate degree in chemoprevention using phytochemicals from Loma Linda University.
