Doss Documentary on PAX Nets High Viewership
Ratings for the Memorial Day showing of The Conscientious Objector on PAX TV are in. PAX television has a telecast reach of 95 million homes. The numbers for viewership were 1.4 share for the first hour and 1.3 for the second hour. This means that of the 95 million homes, 1.4 and 1.3 percent translates into 1.3 and 1.2 million homes were tuned in on PAX, with competing networks sharing the balance of the viewers. With more than 100 channels on cable and another 300 available on satellite, our share was exceptional. The normal audience rating for any PAX telecast is around 0.3 to 0.4 percent. When compared to the normal our impact was significant.
