When the Hollywood Coordinating Council selected honorees for its three annual awards, it chose Marilyn Ellis, community services leader of the Hollywood Church, as one award recipient.

Council members applauded as Pastor Greg Hoenes, immediate past president of the Council and currently pasturing the Santa Clarita Church, presented Ellis’ award at a luncheon held at the Hollywood Women’s Club. Ellis was honored for her work with the “Feed Hollywood” program as well as for her work with teens.
