The Kaneohe church on the windward side of the island of Oahu recently welcomed its new pastoral family, Eddie General, his wife, Liza, and their two daughters, Angela and Yzabelle.
General completed his Master of Divinity degree at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in December. While at the seminary, General was an assertive leader in developing holistic small groups or cell groups and a cell church.
He hopes to build on his experience and give added impetus to the cell (Ohana) movement in the Kaneohe church and the Hawaii Conference. Currently, there are more than 1,000 members meeting weekly in some 105 Ohana groups conference-wide.
