2004 Constituency Session: Your Delegates at Work
Approximately 900 of the potential 1,050 delegates and delegates-at-large registered for the Southeastern California Conference (SECC) constituency session on Sunday, Nov. 7.
In addition to electing officers, a new executive committee and a by-laws committee to serve for the coming quadrennium, delegates voted on several initiatives. They approved a by-laws recommendation for SECC to hold a mid-term town hall meeting.
Delegates also voted to establish a commission to recommend ways of making more student scholarships available for students in SECCs K-12 schools. The commission is to make a report in one year.
