Recorder Editor Goree Weds
No, Recorder Editor Alicia J. Goree didn’t get fired and replaced by Alicia Adams — they are the same person. Communication Director Gerry Chudleigh officiated the May 30 nuptials between Alicia and Ken Adams of Redding, Calif.
“The only problem with the new name is that my once-catchy Christmas letter headline, ‘The Goree Details 2003,’ won’t work anymore,” says Alicia. “But maybe we can switch to ‘The Adams Family 2004!’”
The newlyweds will live in Newbury Park so that Alicia can continue her work as Recorder editor. Ken has moved the 600 miles from Redding and will begin building his mobile dental handpiece repair business in the area.
“With housing prices like they are around here, people are forced to buy houses farther and farther from the Los Angeles metro area and commute long distances,” says Alicia, “but commuting from Redding is pushing it too far!”
