Aaron Dickerson is Arizona's Pathfinder of the Year
By Carol Pearson
Aaron Dickerson, age 16, of the Phoenix Beacon Light Hawks, was selected to be honored as Arizona's Pathfinder of the Year.
According to Dickerson's Pathfinder director, Pam Stevenson, he is neat, spiritual and active in his club, church and community. He has been a member of the Bible Achievement team, tells children's stories, is a junior elder and deacon, and works in the community Angel Tree program at Christmas time.
Dickerson is a member of Who's Who Among American High School Students and the National Art Honor Society. He participates in and has ribbons in track and field at school and plays the piano and saxophone.
Stevenson also says that Dickerson exhibits a warm Christian spirit, puts his faith in God and can always be counted on when called to help or lead out. Currently, he is working to complete Master Guide requirements, and his future plans include college and a degree in law.
