Arizona Youth Rush Magabook Program
Sharing Jesus While Earning Valuable Scholarship Dollars
By Phil Draper
Erik VanDenburgh invites Arizona youth, "Risk everything—Take Jesus to the World!" Interested students can share in an exciting, productive, formative soul-winning venture throughout the conference this summer with the Magabook Program.
Youth, age 16 and up, are invited to join the team in active outreach as they work to earn valuable scholarships for their education expenses. In fact, many schools have tantalizing "matching funds."
The Magabook program requires a 10-week commitment. Youth are trained to share Jesus as they present truth-filled literature in a new format—the Magabook. Much like a magazine but containing the word volume of a book, the bright, colorful Magabooks contain texts such as Desire of Ages and The Great Controversy in a newly designed motif that is readily assimilated by the public.
Youth are trained by experienced Christian leaders, are monitored for safety, and share experiences that will help mold their lives for the future. Exciting adventures are planned for the weekends, and participants frequently develop deep, life-long friendships with one another.
If you are interested in joining this elite team of soul-winners, contact Erik VanDenburgh at 480-991-6777, ext. 149, or e-mail erikvandenburgh@azconference.org.
