Phil Draper recently joined the Arizona Conference staff as communication and senior development director. For the past 11 years, Phil has worked as development director for the Voice of Prophecy where he was also very active in music ministry as a keyboard artist and accompanist for contralto soloist, Del Delker. His wife, Joey, was the featured soloist in the recent NET 2003 meetings from Columbia, S.C., where Phil was also keyboard artist and music director.
The Drapers began their ministry with the Kenneth Cox Evangelistic Association where they worked throughout the United States and in the Inter-American Division for nearly 10 years. Their daughter, Brittany, was born while they were in Costa Rica 23 years ago. She now lives in Agoura Hills, Calif.
Phil brings to Arizona a great deal of experience in writing and event planning, and he is equally gifted in the area of music ministry. His service as organist for the 2000 General Conference Session in Toronto testified to his musical expertise. Phils warm personality and many talents promise to be a blessing to the conference and its constituents.
In addition to communication responsibilities, Draper is already busy planning special programming, including several camp meetings and Bible land tours, to actively involve our Arizona seniors and winter visitors in conference events and projects. The Drapers will also be featured musicians as they travel with newly elected Arizona Conference president, Duane McKey, to various appointments throughout the state.
