Shalom Quartet Prepares 25th Anniversary Concerts
By Raśl H. Rivas, Baritone and Musical Director
The world is moving at a fast pace. Almost 25 years have passed since four lovers of vocal music started a ministry that would reach thousands of people throughout many countries.
The Shalom Quartet—the first Hispanic quartet known as The King’s Heralds (Los Heraldos del Rey)—is preparing two concerts in celebration of their silver anniversary. This event will bring together all those who, in one way or another, have been part of the group. The program will feature a variety of music, including some Christmas songs to ring in the season.
Shalom has tour extensively in the Americas, produced eight recordings and been awarded five prestigious “Angel Awards.”
All are invited to attend Dec. 6 at the Spanish American Church, 1815 Bridge Street, Los Angeles, Calif., at 4 p.m.; and Dec. 7 at the La Sierra Spanish Church, 5885 La Sierra Avenue, Riverside, Calif., at 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.cuartetoshalom.com or call 909-785-1477.
